Faculty Links - The beauty of music is that it does not exist in a vacuum.  Music is an artistic medium which fills the void between the musician and the listener and often between one musician and another. 

Most of our faculty members are also working musicians.  Many perform, others record and publish.  Take some time to visit their sites and experience their music.  This is a great way to keep up to date on what the teachers are doing, when and where they are playing and to learn a bit more about them as musicians and neighbors.

Upcoming Shows - Here is a quick reference listing of upcoming shows featuring members of our faculty:

 Geoff Hansplant

will be playing the Mermaid Inn on Germantown Ave. in Chestnut Hill, Thursday January 12th, 2012 from 9:00p.m. to midnight.  He'll feature songs from his 2009 album, "Pilgrim's Progress" and tunes from his forthcoming album, "Kick Off Your Muddy Boots" as well as blues standards from the twenties and thirties.  It is an over 18 venue, so help the economy by hiring a babysitter and come on out!

Geoff Hansplant

 Geoff's album, "Pilgrim's Progress," has been featured as  "Album of the Month" for January 2011 on the Blues Show at RadioWarrington in the UK. 

Radio Warrington is a station on the outskirts of Liverpool broadcasting to Northern England and the world via their live internet simulcast.  The Blues Show with Llew Garner can be heard on Tuesdays from 1:00-3:00 EST in the U.S. and can be found through this link:
